January 25, 2026  - Prices for Maui rental cars from Kahului Airport (OGG), averaged over the entire month of January, were much higher in 2026 than 2025 . The increase varied by vehicle type, with most categories rising in the range of 30% to 45% higher than they were one year ago. The exceptions were convertibles, up only 14%, and 7-seat SUV's, up more than others, 55%.
