November 16, 2025  - Prices for most rental vehicles in Maui, that had peaked last week for the Veterans' Day Holiday, dropped back down to more moderate levels. The exceptions were minivans and 7-seat SUV's that rose even further from last week. This may be due to a delayed effect of this summer's minivan safety recall. November 9, 2025  - Prices for car rentals from Maui's Kahului Airport (OGG) stayed about the same this week after surging last week. Prices for all vehicles are at a significant premium to their median levels over the ear. However off-airport prices moderated significantly from last week, and the savings for off-airport bookings range from 14% for Jeeps to a whopping 57% for compact cars.
