Prices For Maui Car Rentals Came Down But Are Much Higher Than Last Year

Mar. 2, 2026. Maui car rental prices saw an overall decline for the second week in a row. Prices in most vehicle categories are roughly half (50%) of what they were one week ago, and in the range of 10% to 20% (one-tenth to one-fifth) of what they were at the February peak just three weeks ago. Prices For Maui Rental Cars Are On The Way Down From Record Mid-February Peak

Feb. 23, 2026. Maui car rental prices appear to have peaked in mid-February and they are now on their way down to a high season level that they will hold through March until after Spring Break. This is a repeatable seasonal pattern of price movement that we see every year. The difference this year is the peak prices in Mid-February were more elevated than last year or any previous year on record.
