August 20, 2023 - Maui car rental rates are holding steady despite a huge glut of idle rental cars filling up the fields around Maui's airport. For 8/21-8/28, one week, Monday to Monday, the best rates have not changed much from last week.

Feb. 23, 2026. Maui car rental prices appear to have peaked in mid-February and they are now on their way down to a high season level that they will hold through March until after Spring Break.
